Christmas Eve morning

Owen woke up on Christmas Eve morning to a big boy bed in the middle of the living room.

He is quite the big boy now!
He also got a sled and quite a few Cars characters.

We got a little winter weather this week which brought us some frigid temps
and some great snow.
On one of the warmer days (20 degrees, I believe) we decided to bundle up and head out in it.
It was definitely worth all of the tugging, pulling, and layering to get a little fresh air.

Christmas visit from Nana and Papa Dean

Nana and Papa Dean have been visiting us this week and what a wonderful week it has been!
Owen has absolutely loved having them here.
The night they arrived he ran around the house like a crazy man and had to show them everything he owned.
He also got the BEST Christmas surprise from them...A TRAIN TABLE!!

We went to see Santa yesterday.
Owen did really pretty well.
He did not want to sit on his lap, but he gave him high fives and fisties.
Then he told him that he wanted cars and too-toos for Christmas.

Owen MAY be getting a real big boy bed from a certain awesome Mommy and Daddy for Christmas, but about a month ago we took off the front of his crib to make a (semi) big boy bed. He loves it!! He is always playing on it.
