Papa Dean would have been proud! This post is for him. We stopped in North Platte to have a picnic, go to Fort Cody, and check out the Union Pacific engines on display at the park. Owen had a blast!

Estes Park, Colorado

We went to Estes Park a couple of weeks ago for a dear friend's wedding.
We had a lovely time. We saw old friends and celebrated, caught a fish, rode on a train, bumper boat, and go-kart, and slept in a cabin. What more do you need to have a great family vacation!?!!

We took Owen bowling for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He really enjoyed himself. The videos are a little shaky because Lane and I are trying to video tape while holding Carson. Sorry about that! We let Owen bowl about 7 frames before getting smart and using a ramp. It was a whole new game after that.

The last days of summer

We went to Louisville Lake to swim one summer day. Owen kept telling everyone that he went to the water park. He loved just running in and flopping into the lake.
