We attended a Valentine's party last Monday.
There were so many fun things to do.

How to build a snowman-Owen style

First, you need to start by rolling a snowball in the snow.

Love it and pat it a bit to help it grow bigger and bigger....

...and bigger.
Once it is big, get Elmo to help you roll it to the front yard.

Put on his eyes so he can see and his arms so he can stretch.

Take a little break to hydrate yourself.

Finally, put on his mouth, nose, and funky hair.
Then go inside because you'll definitely need a nap.

RELAX!!!

A 60 degree day in February

About a week or so ago, we had a really nice couple of days and we spent them outside!
We had a picnic and played at the park.

Owen's new favorite thing to do is to go down slides backwards.

The Train Expo

A few weekends ago we took Owen to the Train Expo at the Mid-America Center
in Council Bluffs. There were model train sets everywhere you looked. He had a blast!

The "conductor" at this train set brought the controls over to Owen and let him toot the horn and ring the bell as the train past by us.

Our trip to San Diego!

We went to San Diego last month to have a beautiful, sunny vacation with Lane's family. We stayed with Lane's brother, Ryan and his girlfriend, Lisa for a few days. Then, for the rest of the time we stayed with Lane's folks in a nice condo.
We had a spectacular time!!
